A good, used Ruger “Old Army” Revolver

A Ruger Muzzle Loading revolver in .45 caliber in the bright finish with rosewood grips.  Serial number 145-88146 with a 7.1/2″ round barrel.  Six shot cylinder and target sights.  Presented in its original plastic transit case.  In fine working order. Adjustable sights, both for windage and elevation – blacking A/F.  Cylinder and nipples in good condition.  Rosewood grips in good original condition.  The serial number marked on the side of the frame below the cylinder. Bore and rifling clean – no pitting.

The round barrel marked on top as follows: “STURM. RUGER & CO. INC.  SOUTHPORT. CONN. U.S.A.” with the usual Read the manual warning above on a seperate line.  Underneath the barrel, when the loading lever is dropped, the proof mark with the date of “98” can be seen.  One imperfection, below the loading lever release screw, on the frame is a small fine dent, made by something sharp.  Not corroded – as stainless.This is a  well used, iconicly reliable revolver, which has served one person well, and will serve the next just as well.
