Unusual Sprotarized Schmidt-Rubin Rifle

Originally a standard Military Infantry Rifle Model 1889. Chambered in 7.5 x 53.5mm with a twelve round box magazine.  Now shortened to sporting rifle dimensions and build with exposed barrel and shortened one piece stock.  The rifle now measures 42.1/2″ in overall length.  The stock has been shortened to 28″ and terminates just in front of the rear sight bed.  The barrel is a nominal 22″ long and the trigger Pull remains 12.1/4″ to centre.  Fixed sights with an adjustable front sight (for height)  Many original markings from the Swiss Arsenal remain.  The bore is very good.  Matching numbers on all parts “162032”.  Single sling mount to rear.  Steel butt-plate.  Lower red bolt pull knob slightly damage.
