The whole carbine has an even aged patina all over with a strong percentage of original blue remaining. Elsewhere age is turning it silver and brown. The stock is fine with no splits or cracks and benifits from being fairly close grained for a military weapon. A good bore with light misting and a good action with a strong ejector.
