Silenced French Bolt Action .410 Shotgun…… (S 71)

Silenced .410 Shotgun by Bretton – Goucher

A strange mixture of concepts to pile into a shotgun but, nevertheless an effectively silenced .410.  Made by Bretton -Goucher, a French company it has been built more in the style of a rifle than a traditional shotgun.  It has a fixed action and is bolt operated.  The barrel is shrouded for its entire length and it has a fixed synthetic rifle type stock.  Single shot with ejector.

Serial number “556790”  OAL 45.1/4″.  Barrel is 25.1/4″ long and the Pull is 14.1/4″ to centre.  Will take .410 Magnum rounds according to the markings on the LHS of the action.  Brass bead front sight.  A dove-tail mount in position to mount a sight on the receiver.  Clean but used, some scratches to the surface of the stock – lots of fun for a starting gun.
