.22 Bolt Action Shotgun SOLD

A well converted Bolt Action B.S.A. “Sportsman Fifteen” to Shotgun.

Originally a “Sportsman Fifteen” tube magazine fed Bolt Action Rifle in .22 this has been converted to single shot .22 smoothbore.

Overall measuring 43″.  Barrel 25″ and Pull 13.1/2″ to centre.   All components from the original rifle still in position like the tube magazine under the barrel.  The aperture sights have been removed the open rear sights remain.  A fixed magazine floor plate is in position to allow a loading platform.  Bolt in the white with blued handle.  Blueing over the balance of the gun is fine and strong.  Steel trigger guard. Threaded muzzle.

Bore is fine.  Beechwood stock in very good condition with original BSA cartouche / logo in LHS of the butt.  Serial number “LE55272” on LHS of barrel.  Original rifle markings and BSA logo on upper surface of barrel reading; “THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS Co LTD / SPORTSMAN FIFTEEN  stacked rifles logo .22 L.R. CARTRIDGE / MADE IN ENGLAND.” Serrated carved wooden buttstock to stop slip.  Barleycorn front sight, open “U” rear sight.

In excellent condition, functions well, proofed as section 2.
