A Stevens -Savage M59 Bolt Action 5-shotgun
Chambered in .410. Magazine capacity 5 rounds. Tubular magazine under the barrel. Magazine loaded by twisting the magazine end cap and withdrawing the brass follower. The shotgun is 44.1/2″ long. The round blued barrel is 24.1/2″ long and the trigger pull is 13.1/2″ to centre. The bolt on this shotgun has a safety feature at the rear which is a simple pull and twist type catch. Semi-pistol grip hardwood stock in good condition. Good smooth bore. Takes 2.1/2″ and 3″ shells. British proofed. Made in the USA. Barrel marked as follows; ” J.STEVENS ARMS COMPANY / CHICOPEE FALLS. MASS. U.S.A. / 410 BORE PROOF TESTED.” “MODEL 59” Bolt finished in the white. Balance Blued fading to plumb brown. A fun gun. To be held on section one license.
